Does anyone own a L2800? I looked at them on the Kubota website. Are these a replacement for the L2600 and L3000? It said they had a shuttle shift. Can you change direction without stopping? How does this one compare to the L3130? Are they less expensive? I have a L245DT now and am thinking abouot upgrading.

The L2800 replaces the older 2650 series. The L3400 has a few more horsepower and the cost is about $1000.00 more. I just bought a package deal L3400DT with R4's, LA463 FEL, Modern 5' Cutter 5' box blade and 16' trailer for $17,000. I paid $10,000 10 years ago for my 2650 with no FEL and no 4x4. I feel like I did OK. I got more tractor and it was not that much more considering what I got and it being 10 years later.

The 2800 and 3400 are the replacements for the 2600 and 3000 models. The 3130 is the full featured tractors and not the same as they are a full featured tractor and a hydraulic forward and reverse shuttle is available on those tractors. ....

Doesn't your 3400 have a shuttle shift for low range? How does it work? How does your 3400 compare in price and performance to a 3130? ....

I'm not sure of the exact price difference. The 3130 may have more electronics on it. I like things pretty simple and not too many changes. The L3400 does indeed have the shuttle shift, my L2650 did too. It easy, put the tractor in whatever gear lets say 4 in low. Now you can just shift between F & R in that range. If you wanted 2 in the high range same deal. I considered the hst but decided the traditional way was right for me.
